Intelligent Scan Triggering
Six independent checks must all pass before a scan fires. This eliminates false triggers from static backgrounds so scans only happen when you're actually holding a card.

- Frame Stability — Confirms the image is steady, not blurry or shaking
- Edge Detection — Recognizes card-like shapes and rejects blank surfaces
- Color Analysis — Confirms a colorful card is present, not a plain background
- Scene Change — Prevents re-scanning the same card twice in a row
- Hold Timer — Requires 3 seconds of stability before triggering the scan
Suffix-Aware Card Matching
Pokémon TCG has era-specific suffixes that look nearly identical but represent completely different cards — especially under varying streaming environments, webcam angles, and lighting conditions. HitScan distinguishes them all.
Exact suffix matches are prioritized while cross-era variants are automatically deprioritized — so a Scarlet & Violet "Charizard ex" is never confused with an XY "Charizard EX".
Chase-Rarity Detection
HitScan queries the database in real-time to identify the top 5 most expensive cards in each set. When you pull one, your overlay lights up with special badges and animations.
