Download the latest installer from your account dashboard or the link provided in your purchase confirmation email.
Double-click the installer and follow the on-screen prompts. HitScanTCG bundles everything it needs — no additional software required.
Open HitScanTCG from your Start Menu or desktop shortcut. Enter your license key on first launch to activate.
HitScanTCG works with any camera source your PC can see:
Plug in your webcam — HitScanTCG will auto-detect it. If you have multiple cameras, select the one you want from the settings panel.
Connect your smartphone as a webcam using any virtual camera app. Once your phone appears as a camera source on your PC, HitScanTCG will detect it automatically.
For network cameras, enter the camera's stream URL in the HitScan settings panel.
Once installed, getting started is simple:
The application runs a local overlay server that OBS connects to — your stream sees a clean, transparent overlay with card info and pricing.
Add the HitScan overlay to your OBS scene:
In OBS, click the + button under Sources and select "Browser".
Enter http://localhost:8081 as the URL.
Set width to 1920 and height to 1080 to match your stream resolution.
Ensure "Shutdown source when not visible" is unchecked. The overlay has a transparent background and composites automatically over your camera scene.
Fine-tune HitScanTCG from the built-in settings panel:
Select which connected camera to use, or enter a network camera URL for remote sources.
How long (in seconds) to hold a card steady before a scan triggers. Default: 3 seconds.
Minimum confidence score (0–100) to accept a card match. Cards below this threshold are rejected. Default: 65.
Wait time between consecutive scans to prevent duplicates. Default: 4 seconds.
Make sure your webcam is plugged in and recognized by Windows. Try selecting a different camera source in the HitScan settings panel. If using a phone camera, ensure the virtual camera app is running.
Hold the card steady in good lighting. HitScan's intelligent scan system checks for a stable image, card-like shapes, color, and motion before triggering. Hold cards upright in your hand rather than flat against a surface.
Ensure good lighting and a clean, uncluttered background. Move the card closer to the camera. If confidence is consistently low, try increasing the Hold Duration in settings to give the camera more time to stabilize.
Confirm HitScanTCG is running and http://localhost:8081 loads in your browser. In OBS, right-click the Browser Source and select "Refresh cache of current page".
HitScanTCG requires an active internet connection for AI card identification. Check your network connection and try restarting the application.
